Aviation workers are at the frontline of a sector in crisis and deserve better.
Our aviation industry has been put under critical strain throughout the COVID pandemic.
Almost 10,000 workers in aviation lost their job during the peak of the pandemic and now as the sector rebuilds worker shortages mean chaos for the travelling public and staff alike.
To Keep Australia Flying the Federal Government must act urgently to support airlines workers.
Your union, the ASU, is calling for:
1. Secure jobs
2. Good wages and conditions
3. Safe workplaces
4. Investment in training
Aviation workers have been dealt a bad deal for far too long. We demand good jobs, good wages and good work.
We need action now from Government and industry to support airline workers who get the travelling public where they need to go safely.

Keep Australia Flying Report
To better understand the real life impact COVID-19 has had on the aviation industry, the Australian Services Union surveyed a total of 563 aviation workers about their experience in the industry during COVID-19. The findings have been put into a report which examines the effects on the people who work for airlines or in ground handling.
Download the report to learn about what they said about the impact on COVID-19 on their work.
